1- Arrival Condition Report
The arrival condition report (ACR) is the last check performed by dealer before taking the delivery of an equipment from OEM. ACR report will be prepared by leaving the OEMs stock yard. In this check, if dealer come across any defect, he can report in immediately and can ask manufacturer for a replacement.
If no issue is found, dealer needs to give a certificate of guarantee to the OEM, stating that ACR has been carried out and we have no problem. For each equipment received, ACR is needed to be prepared separately.
2- Pre Delivery Inspection
Pre-delivery inspection (PDI) is the final inspection that is carried out by dealers to ensure that everything is perfect. PDI process is carried out to facilitate end-customer and eliminate their need of re-visiting the dealership with any query regarding the delivery of vehicle.
PDI process consists of a rigid checklist that includes examining full vehicle deeply from every angle.
In PDI process, dealers look for problems, if they come across any, they fix it instantly. Also, it doesn’t matter how minor or major the issue is, it is needed to be fixed because it’s a part of PDI. After this process is complete, customer need to sign at the end after complete satisfaction.
Moreover, dealers can conveniently use their mobile and tablets to perform PDI and capture & annotate a defect and forward it to OEM instantly.
